FAQs

  • If you are interested in working together then please send me a message.

I’ll respond to you, introducing myself and to arrange a free 20 minute consultation. This is a chance for us both to feel into if we might be a good fit for each other. We can discuss what brings you to therapy and any questions you might have.

  • Sessions are £80. Payment is to be made via BACS ahead of the session.

  • If we proceed, we set out to work together weekly for 6 sessions. After 6 sessions we have a review, at which point we can decide if we want to work with each other in a more open ended way.

  • I offer sessions online (on zoom) and in person in Queen’s Park.  The therapy room is a 5 minute walk from Queen's Park station (Bakerloo/Lioness) and a 10-minute walk from Brondesbury Park station (Mildmay). The rooms are wheelchair accessible.

  • Sessions are usually held weekly at a regular time that we agree upon together. Each session lasts 50 minutes. This time is reserved for you and is not offered to others. Sessions cancelled or missed with less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full, regardless of the reason, as the time has been set aside specifically for you.

If you are unable to attend a session, I ask for as much notice as possible. Planned absences with at least one week’s notice (such as holidays or travel) will not be charged, for up to six weeks per calendar year. If you are away for more than six weeks in total across the year, any additional missed sessions will be charged—regardless of notice—unless we have explicitly agreed otherwise.

If you anticipate needing a longer break, I encourage us to speak about it in advance so we can consider how best to support the continuity and depth of the work.

  • Therapy is very individual. The research shows that six sessions is the minimum amount required to be effective, but many people choose to undertake a longer treatment. As such, I offer open ended sessions so we can finish when you feel complete with the work we have done.

A rich inner process can emerge when you choose to end therapy. For this reason, I ask that we discuss our ending and decide together on a time frame that feels right for us. I will never prevent you from leaving should you wish to end immediately, but it is a strong recommendation to spend a few sessions with what emerges.

  • Like any relationship, the therapeutic relationship is highly individual, and the quality of the relationship has been found in the literature to be the most significant determining factor in successful therapeutic outcomes.

I undertake regular reviews through our work together to ensure I am supporting you as best I can. Should we decide after 6 weeks that we are not the optimal fit, I can refer you to a different practitioner.

  • Just yourself. If we agree to work together, we will need to agree on a contract. I will need some contact details, which will be stored securely. I will arrange this with you before our initial session.
